"Nutcracker"

2011-2016 Estonian National Opera

In the second year of studying in Tallinn Ballet School I get an opportunity to take part in "Nutcracker" in the role of child in quests family. That was a big responsibility for me and other children, great opening of the show. My classmates also tried themselves in a "Candy dance"? But I was too tall for dancing that.....

After two years I get a role of a rat. It was moving as fast as possible in a big, soon hot, rat costume, seeing nothing and point shoes of course. There were 8 girls doing rats part , so we had a lot of fun together. I loved dancing that.

Last role I did in "Nutcracker" was a cook. That wasn't really hard in my opinion but as our teacher Katrin Kivimägi wanted always more and more I felt really confused doing that. Somehow every little peace became so important that sitting one hour on the stage made a big drama many times. I felt myself capable for more and not really motivated doing that part.
